Lightning strikes the store and sends Mike flying away, but he is uninjured and sees Charles' dead body and the doll. He uses a voodoo spell to transfer his soul into a doll. As a mortally wounded Charles stumbles inside the store, he crashes into a stack of Good Guy dolls and one falls next to him. Mike is able to find him there and fatally shoots him.
